أَخْضَعَ (ʔaḵḍaʕa) IV (non-past يُخْضِعُ (yuḵḍiʕu), verbal noun إِخْضَاع (ʔiḵḍāʕ))

  1. to subdue
  2. to restrain
    فَلَمْ يَقْدِرْ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يُخْضِعَهُ.
    falam yaqdir ʔaḥadun ʔan yuḵḍiʕahu.
    So no one was able to restrain him.
