Inherited from Proto-Dravidian [Term?]. Cognate with Telugu వేయు (vēyu, to put on), Kurukh [script needed] (bã̄cnā, to throw piece of cloth on shoulders), Kumarbhag Paharia [script needed] (benje, to dress, gird).
