تَهدید • (tahdid) (plural تَهدیدات (tahdidât) or تَهدیدها (tahdid-hâ))

   • c. 1100, Amīr Mu'izzī, “Qaṣīda 423”, in دیوان امیر معزی‎^[1]:

     بشکند ناموس صد لشکر به یک تهدید او
     بگسلد پیمان صد دشمن به یک پیغام او

     bišikanad nāmūs-i sad laškar ba yak tahdīd-i ō
     bigusilad paymān-i sad dušman ba yak payğām-i ō

     He shatters the manliness of a hundred armies with one threat,
     He dissolves the oaths of a hundred enemies with one message.
