- أَمَّا الشَّمْسُ الْمُسْتَعِرَة وَٱلنُّجُومُ الْمُتَوَهِّجَةُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ الْغَنِيَّةَ بِأَنْوَاعِ الْحَيَاةِ، فَكُلُّهَا دَلِيلٌ وَاضِحٌ عَلَى أَنَّ أَصْلَ الْكَوْنِ أَوْ أَسَاسَهُ يَرْتَبِطُ بِزَمَانٍ بَدَأَ مِنْ لَحْظَةٍ مُعَيَّنَةٍ، فَهُوَ إِذًا حَدَثٌ مِنَ الْأَحْدَاثِ. وَمَعْنَى ذٰلِكَ أَنَّهُ لَا بُدَّ لِأَصْلِ الْكَوْنِ مِنْ خَالِقٍ أَزَلِيٍّ لَيْسَ لَهُ بِدَايَةٌ، عَلِيمٌ مُحِيطٌ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ، لَيْسَ لِقُدْرَتِهِ حُدُودٌ، وَلَا بُدَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ هٰذَا الْكَوْنُ مِنْ صُنْعِ يَدَيْهِ.
- ʔammā š-šamsu l-mustaʕira(t) wan-nujūmu l-mutawahhijatu wal-ʔarḍu l-ḡaniyyata biʔanwāʕi l-ḥayāti, fakulluhā dalīlun wāḍiḥun ʕalā ʔanna ʔaṣla l-kawni ʔaw ʔasāsahu yartabiṭu bizamānin badaʔa min laḥẓatin muʕayyanatin, fahuwa ʔiḏan ḥadaṯun mina l-ʔaḥdāṯi. wamaʕnā ḏālika ʔannahu lā budda liʔaṣli l-kawni min ḵāliqin ʔazaliyyin laysa lahu bidāyatun, ʕalīmun muḥīṭun bikulli šayʔin, laysa liqudratihi ḥudūdun, walā budda ʔan yakūna hāḏā l-kawnu min ṣunʕi yadayhi.
