Etymology edit

From Middle Persian [script needed] (dwšhym /⁠dušxēm⁠/, evil-natured). By surface analysis, دژ (dož) +‎ خیم (xim). Akin to Old Armenian դժխեմ (džxem), an Iranian borrowing.
