   ܝܵܗ݇ܒ݂ܲܚ ܫܠܵܡܹ̈ܐ ܠܟܠ ܐ݇ܢܵܫܹ̈ܐ ܟܲܕ ܥܵܒ݂ܪܝܼ ܓܵܘ ܬܲܪܥܵܐ.

   yāḇaḥ šlāmē l-kul nāšē kad ˁāḇrī gāw tarˁā.

   We greet everyone as they pass through the door.

   • 1 Corinthians 16:20:

     ܟܠܵܝܗܝ ܐܲܚܘܿܢܘܵܬܹ̈ܐ ܠܲܐܟ݂ܵܐ ܒܸܕܪܵܝܵܐ ܝܢܵܐ ܫܠܵܡܹ̈ܐ ܐܸܠܵܘܟ݂ܘܿܢ. ܗܲܒ݂ܠܘܼܢ ܫܠܵܡܹ̈ܐ ܚܲܕ݇ ܠܗ̇ܘ ܐ݇ܚܹܪ݇ܢܵܐ ܒܢܫܘܼܩܬܵܐ ܩܲܕܝܼܫܬܵܐ.

     kullāyh aḥōnwātē laˀḵā bidrāyā ìnā šlāmē illāwḵōn. haḇlūn šlāmē ḥa l-awa ḥēnā b-nšuqtā qadīštā.

     All the brethren greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.

When returning a greeting, the verb ܕܵܪܹܐ (dārē) is used instead.
