     In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

     ܒܵܣ ܬܲܘܒܘܼܢ ܘܕܥܘܿܪܘܼܢ ܕܦܵܝܫܝܼ ܫܒ݂ܝܼܩܹ̈ܐ ܚܸܛܝܵܬ݂ܵܘ̈ܟ݂ܘܿܢ، ܘܕܐܵܬ݂ܝܼ ܥܲܠܵܘܟ݂ܘܿܢ ܙܲܒ݂ܢܹ̈ܐ ܕܢܝܵܚܵܐ ܡ̣ܢ ܡܵܪܝܵܐ،
