editFrom ܫܘܼܒ݂ܚܵܐ (šuḇḥā, “honor, glory”) + ܠ- (l-, “to”) + ܫܸܡܹܗ (šimmēh, “his name”), literally “Glory to his name”, referencing to Jesus or God.
