కుట్టితే తేలు, కుట్టకుంటే కుమ్మర పురుగు • (kuṭṭitē tēlu, kuṭṭakuṇṭē kummara purugu)

1. If it stings it is a scorpion, if it does not sting it is a mole cricket. (literally, "a man's character is known by his acts")
