Usage notes edit
- It becomes დვ- (dv-) before ა (a) in Atina, Vizha, Artasheni and Chkhala dialects, დ- (d-) in Vitse-Arkabi and Khopa dialects.
- It becomes დ- (d-) before ო (o) in Atina, Vitse-Arkabi and Khopa dialects, დვ- (dv-) in Vizha, Artasheni and Chkhala dialects.
- It becomes დ- (d-) before ი (i) and უ (u).
- It sometimes become დე- (de-) and sometimes დო- (do-) before ვი (vi), ვო (vo), ვუ (vu), მი (mi), გი (gi), მო (mo) and გო (go) in Atina dialect.
