1. on, upon, on top of

   ወመንፈሰ፡እግዚአብሔር፡ይጼልል፡መልዕልተ፡ማይ።

   wämänfäsä ʾəgziʾäbḥer yəṣell mälʿəltä may.

   And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
