설치다 (seolchida) (infinitive 설쳐 or 설치어, sequential 설치니)

  1. to be unruly; to act wildly; to behave outside accepted norms
    집 안에서 이렇게 뛰어다니면서 설치지 마라.
    jip aneseo ireoke ttwieodanimyeonseo seolchiji mara.
    Don't behave inappropriately by running inside the house like this.
  2. to behave impatiently
    아기가 집에 가고 싶어서 설쳤다.
    agiga jibe gago sipeoseo seolcheotda.
    The baby behaved impatiently because it wanted to go home.
  3. to sleep poorly (only with the direct object (jam, “sleep”))
    이혼한 후 내내 잠을 설쳤어.
    ihonhan hu naenae jameul seolcheosseo.
    I always slept poorly after I had my divorce.
