Usage notes
editIn modern Armenian this suffix forms only superlative degrees. In Old Armenian the superlative sense was expressed with such adverbs as կարի (kari), յոյժ (yoyž), սաստիկ (sastik), անհնարին (anhnarin): for example յոյժ մեծ (yoyž mec, “the biggest”).
