2. Forms commands, taking the place of li.

   1. Used as an optative particle to express wishes.

      ona o awen lon tenpo suli.

      May it remain for a long time.

Usage notes

• When the subject is only sina, it is usually dropped before o in the imperative or optative sense. Note that o itself is not dropped, unlike li.
