- From pantomime of eating a sandwich, similar to ASL sign FlatO@NearMouth-PalmBack FlatO@Mouth (“to eat; food”).
Production edit
- This two-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
- Posture the nondominant hand in the “bent B” handshape within a few inches from the mouth, nondominant palm facing back. Posture the dominant hand in the “bent B” handshape cupped over the back of the dominant hand, dominant palm facing back.
- Move both hands back toward the mouth to the following posture.
- Posture the nondominant hand in the “bent B” handshape at the mouth, nondominant palm facing back. Posture the dominant hand in the “bent B” handshape cupped over the back of the dominant hand, dominant palm facing back.
