Proper noun edit

East Overshoe

  1. (slang, US) Often used to refer to a place moderately far away. It generally is used in place of a city or town name when that name is unknown or cannot be recalled.
I don't get to see Jim much since he moved. Now he lives somewhere out in East Overshoe.
  2. A placeholder for a fictitious municipality in sample documents or hypothetical situations. (This usage is similar to the way John Doe is sometimes used as a placeholder for the name of a person.)
