Central Franconian

Etymology

Probably related with German Fotze, Dutch vot, and hence a doublet of Central Franconian Fott (butt, arse). The -n- may be due to mere sporadic nasalisation, but may also stem from Old High German funs (willing, eager, excited). Compare Old English fūs.
