@Erutuon, per the discussion here, I'd like it to be completely open-ended, as designed in {{root}}, so that would include Sanskrit and PII, and whatever other languages have a root based system. --Victar (talk) 02:41, 26 February 2018 (UTC)

@Victar: I think making a central root catboiler will probably work: the category pages don't look very different. {{ar-root}} would be harder to integrate into {{root}}, because it's used for linking or generating a headword along with categorization, so it should probably be left alone, like {{ja-usex}} and {{usex}}. — Eru·tuon 04:39, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
