Proto-Balto-Slavic edit

Etymology edit

From Proto-Indo-European *h₃ew-[1], cognate with Latin *uo.

Alternatively reconstructed as *h₂ewH- by LIV, but (as pointed out by Dersen) root-final laryngeal is incompatible with the Balto-Slavic accentuation.

Verb edit

*áutei[1][2][3]

  1. to put on (footware)

Inflection edit

Fixed accent.

This verb needs an inflection-table template.
