ODT and DUM "sas" a descendant??

Nowhere in both http://gtb.inl.nl/search/ and http://etymologiebank.ivdnt.org/zoek_woord did I manage to find mention or indication of any relationship with Proto-Germanic *sahsą, , or Proto-Indo-European *sek- (“to cut”). The only exception may be the capitalized "Saks" for the group of people called "Saxons" in English. This name may derive from a word meaning "knife".
I intend to remove the mention to ODT and DUM "sas" from here in a week's time or so, unless someone posts a convincing argument for its retention. I got the impression that certain parts of descendants' trees are not explicitly in but linked through to other pages, so my intended edit may have repercussions elsewhere.Redav (talk) 13:29, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
