@Angr: interestingly, this book discusses the formation of the very term you're suggesting, but I don't understand everything.

Независимо от того или иного понимания «силовой установки» в термине «ветросиловая установка» можно, видимо, усмотреть следущие отношения между элементами: а) данная силовая установка характеризуется по признаку носителя энергии, являющегося первичным побудителем приведения в действие и действия установки и б) данная установка приводится в действие силой ветра, и элемент ветросиловая является подачей в другой форме словосочетания «сила ветра» (сила ветра -> ветряная сила -> ветросила).

This is the single occurrence of the word on google books, but I haven't checked for inflected forms. In any case, it's not used here, only mentioned.

@Barytonesis, Angr: The citation above explains how the word is formed, among other things (the rest is about the characteristics of the installation/device). The adjective is formed from ветроси́ла (vetrosíla), which is hardly used. Not sure if it's attestable as a Russian term. We normally use expressions си́ла ве́тра (síla vétra) or less commonly ветряна́я си́ла (vetrjanája síla). винторе́зный (vintoréznyj) is more straightforward, since винторе́з (vintoréz) exists. --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 06:13, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
