Native origin for Persian cherry

@Calak, if I understand correctly Hasandust is recording two native etymologies: one connecting this with گل (gol, “rose”); the other identifying with بالو (bâlu, “wart”), thus "round object". Is that correct? Vahag (talk) 20:54, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
