Duplicate entries & Template:word

edit
@Taimoorahmed11 ڊگهو and ڊگھو are duplicate entries. The question is whether ھ is used for voiced aspirated consonants such as घ or whether ہ is used instead making घ identical with गह/गिह/गुह, etc. Kutchkutch (talk) 13:20, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Svartava2 Was Template:word removed because of the deletion discussion? Kutchkutch (talk) 13:20, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, just seeing this now! I will check up on this, and see whether the do-chasme-he is used in Saraiki exactly as it is un Urdu and Punjabi, though one thing is for sure is that the first spelling (right after my name) is incorrect and seems to be using the Arabic He, I think, and only the latter is found on my Google Saraiki Keyboard.

@Kutchkutch The latter spelling is correct, and the Do-chasme he is used in Saraiki for aspirations, like it is in Punjabi and Urdu.

@Taimoorahmed11: Thanks for suggesting using virtual keyboards as a way to check. Although this is a Sindhi entry, the same reasoning appears to be applicable. ھ is used for aspirations at Google Input Tools and Sindhi language, so
from:پڙهڻ to:پڙھڻ for ھ
from:جہاز to:جهاز for ه
from:ٻہ to:ٻه for ه
from:ریشم to:ريشم for ي
from:بیمار to:بيمار for ي
Unfortunately, the website for Google Input Tools does not have Saraiki or Shahmukhi Punjabi. Kutchkutch (talk) 12:25, 22 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Kutchkutch Duh, sorry! I thought it was Saraiki because it also has ڊ. As it's Sindhi, the word in the dictionary (according to R:sd:CLE) is ڊگهو. Also the Saraiki and Shahmukhi Keyboard is available on the mobile apps, not online unfortunately (I mainly contribute from my phone). Sindhi doesn't have the aspiration character to my knowledge and it is only used to represent the equivalent of ह.

@Taimoorahmed11 If Sindhi doesn't have the aspiration character to [your] knowledge, then Sindhi terms spelled with ھ would be considered misspellings. So, پڙهڻ and ڊگهو are to remain and ڊگھو is to be deleted. The ھ in گھ ,جھ ,ڙھ would have to be replaced with ه. Kutchkutch (talk) 09:41, 23 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Yes. That seems to be correct ... I think? What's confusing me are the Unicode characters. The main online Sindhi dictionary also seems to be down recently. The Sindhi Keyboard seem to primarily use Arabic characters but then also has Persian/Urdu Unicode characters. I've also had to change a redirect for پڙھڻ - which should be the correct one. But then apparently that he is the Do-Chashme-He.

@Kutchkutch Ok - so yes those characters you listed - they are incorrect. Do Chasme he, as well as the Arabic he are both used, but neither for aspiration.
