@Aryaman Hi, seems it's borrowed from Dari Persian چوکی (chaukii) which means "chair". Assamese চকী (soki) also means chair and the hindi word means stool, bench.

@Sagir Ahmed Msa: According to the Oxford Hindi-English Dictionary, the word is from Sanskrit चतुष्क (catuṣka, having four), via Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 1 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "psu" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF.. I think that makes more sense, and that the Persian word is also probably from Sanskrit since it is only used in Afghanistan and not Iran. —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 12:34, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
