If it is indeed used in a jocular context please denote it with an appropriate label. I too think this term has restricted usage and should be marked with either dated, literary, or whatever. Most of its modern use seems deliberate i.e. it is specifically used to evoke Old Georgian style. Dixtosa (talk) 22:06, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

@Dixtosa: ye that "evoke old georgian feel" is why I'm saying it's used in a jocular way. Modern use is definitely a learned borrowing, the word was dead already.
