Which is more common?
edit@Justinrleung, KevinUp: I have a question: 千山萬水/千山万水 (qiānshānwànshuǐ) & 萬水千山/万水千山 (wànshuǐqiānshān), which is more common? -- theDarkKnightLi 🙏 🔧 07:59, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
- I would say both are equally common as an idiom. Wikisource Chinese has 355 search results for 千山萬水/千山万水 (qiānshānwànshuǐ) [1] and 323 results for 萬水千山/万水千山 (wànshuǐqiānshān) [2]. The first term has more search results on Google due to its popularity as a Jay Chou song. KevinUp (talk) 09:04, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
- @KevinUp: Thank you! Shall I change the definition of 萬水千山/万水千山 (wànshuǐqiānshān) into
{{zh-alt-form|千山萬水}}

- Yes, I checked my copy of 《商務成語大詞典》 (2013) and I can confirm that both idioms have the same definition. KevinUp (talk) 09:45, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
