Should this, not being a final particle, really have “li”, as in the neutral tone?

Does this mean "mile" or does it mean "li"? The Chinese unit of distance "li" is not the same as a mile. 24.29.228.33 21:08, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- You're thinking of 里. Here, 哩 is a synonym of 英里, an "English mile". Tooironic 12:24, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
