Derived suffixes, or not?
editHi @Bezimenen,
There are a couple expressive verbal suffixes that sound like they might be derived from -кам (-kam), but I'm not sure:
- -уркам (-urkam): e.g. живуркам (živurkam), пишуркам (pišurkam)
- -ичкам (-ičkam): e.g. боричкам (boričkam), ровичкам (rovičkam), гъделичкам (gǎdeličkam)
Do you have an etymology for those?
Thanks,

- They seem to be from the same family of suffixes as titular -кам (-kam). The first case is based on the elusive extension *-or-/*-ur- (probably nominative in nature?) found in говоря (govorja), dial. чекоря (čekorja), катурям (katurjam). In principle, a r-marker is found in PIE middle eventive conjugation, however, I don't know if that has any relation with Slavic *-or-/*-ur-. The second is probably a compound of *-ikъ (diminutive suffix) + *-ьkati (or something of this sort). Equivalently, it could be viewed as a denominal factitive of the adjectival suffix -ичък (-ičǎk) + -ам (-am). 2A00:23C7:9C97:8201:B8FC:DC01:6143:CE82 21:50, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks! I'll add them as derived terms.
