@JohnC5 There's an oddity with the Mycenaean transliteration of 𐀠: compare 𐀠 (pi) (no hyphen) and -𐀠 (-pi) (double hyphen). It's actually doubling it: --𐀠 (--pi).

Would you know how to correct that? --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 13:34, 17 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Another thing: I'd like to empty CAT:Terms with manual transliterations different from the automated ones/gmy, but I can't do it because of things like {{desc|gmy|𐀉𐀬𐀵𐀗||treecutters|sc=Linb|tr=du-ru-to-mo /dru-tomoi/}}. I don't know where to put the phonological rendering /dru-tomoi/. --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 13:34, 17 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Per utramque cavernam: I believe I fixed the first issue. For the second one, we've long needed a |pron= or |transcription= parameter around here to deal with these thing. We've discussed this before, but nothing has been done about it. @Erutuon, what do you think? —*i̯óh₁nC[5] 01:44, 18 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Isomorphyc seems to have worked on that at User:Isomorphyc/Sandbox8. --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 01:47, 18 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately I completed about 90% of this before I temporarily had to leave Wiktionary unexpectedly, but now I will have to start over, since I don't precisely enough remember where I left off. This and the {{also}} templates are my highest priorities when I am able to return in earnest. Thank you for remembering. Isomorphyc (talk) 02:04, 18 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
@JohnC5: It would be a good feature and could certainly be added, but as always I'm worried that it would cause further memory problems. We would also need some way to distinguish between IPA and non-IPA renderings. I think dru-tomoi isn't IPA since it has a hyphen. — Eru·tuon 23:07, 19 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
