Proof

@Traytraycoco The thing is, people can write and make stuff up in Tagalog Wikipedia whatever they want, especially in Tagalog Wikipedia where things can be left unverified due to lack of volunteers and quality control.

We had a time where we had an entry named siyano for "cyan" but the source was Tagalog Wikipedia, where in fact nobody uses siyano and the Spanish for cyan was cian.

What we mean was actual attestations. Examples include news reports, books (Google Book results or hardbound), dictionary entries, or government documents.

@Traytraycoco shouldn't be using wikipedia as your source in the first place. When you get stuff from Wikipedia, you get the sources they use. If they do not put sources, it is in itself unreliable. Sometimes the sources some people put themselves can be unreliable as well, such as random internet blogs or social media that the creator of those can randomly invent themselves. For this reason, multiple official formal publications are more reliable to evidently gauge which are the widespread legit terms that can be here in Wiktionary, rather than random one or two authors using that term randomly.
