The /ˈwiːdʒi/ pronunciation is strange/illogical to me (that final vowel), but I have heard it on American TV: is it US-only? Equinox ◑ 19:07, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

I remember hearing this a lot as a child in the UK. I would imagine it comes from not having seen the word written down and mishearing other people, plus the influence of words that end in /dʒi/ such as squeegee. Simmo333333 (talk) 20:50, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
