Add adjective section? edit

Corresponding to the one for "UK", shouldn't there be an "Adjective" section under "Etymology 1" along with the "Proper noun" section?

Something like "1. American; related to the United States."

German quotes edit

I agree with 學者三's comments here and I would want to remove the 1989 and 2008 quotes if that's fine with you @-sche. — Fytcha T | L | C 08:43, 16 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

No objection, but I'd point out that the reason for creating the entry was precisely to demonstrate that US does occur without a hyphen, in response to suggestions at WT:RFDN#US- that there was no bare US. - -sche (discuss) 19:06, 16 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
@-sche: I understand that but these two quotes specifically are misspelled. If we are able find three rare instances of people misspelling "zweiköpfig" as "zwei köpfig" with a Deppenleerzeichen, we wouldn't create köpfig either, right? Similarly, "US Truppen" (misspelling of "US-Truppen") does in my opinion not attest US as a standalone noun (but luckily we have much better quotes that are not misspelled anyway). — Fytcha T | L | C 19:54, 16 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
