Rfv-sense "walrus" (currently only definition). According to Katersat it's some kind of mythical creature. The Danish "usage examples" translate as "animal of legend which is described as a land animal and which looks scary"; "legendary animal with short legs and a horn on the nose, aggressive and dangerous". The Greenlandic definition translates as "scary land mammal (in the old days)". And in any case, none of the derived terms could have been derived from it.__Gamren (talk) 19:35, 2 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Oh, by the way, can anyone recommend a search engine with partial word search (such that one could search for e.g. *niar* and get akniar, niarpoq, gleniarmak etc.? It would be very useful when dealing with highly polysynthetic languages.__Gamren (talk) 19:40, 2 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
