I found the following definition for the colour almond:

1. (colour) A brownish, the colour of the nut almond resembling, shade of the colour white

   almond colour:

This is gibberish. The colour is brownish, AND a shade of white, AND matches a patch of dark brown?

Hi! I was the one who added the colour band. Many colours are not exact, in that the same named colour can be of different shades. For each of the colour bands I have added, I have looked around for many possibilities, and selected the one that I perceived was closest. Maybe one of the ones below might be a better fit?

Hello Sally. I was rather rude about your contribution -- I'm interacting with a computer, and don't see the person behind it. Plus a horrendous bad day!

I've done a bit of Googling around, and what I find makes me think that for some people almond colour is the colour of the inside kernel, with the darker skin rubbed off, while for other people it's the colour of the skin. To my mind, even the lighter samples don't match the colour of an inside almond kernel, which I would describe as a creamy off-white,

I've collected a few examples with a quick Google (no selection, just the first ones I found:

If you asked me what _I_ thought was the best colour (with reference to an actual almond, not to any accepted standard), I would say that it's lighter than any of your samples. But I don't think my opinion is relevant.

Fancy font

I see the Ladino/Roman translation in a fancy font which, besides, happens not to be very clear. I thought it was due to {{tø}} but it must be something else. Regards. --87.222.100.5 10:57, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
