"Angiogenesis is the physiological process involving vasculogenesis, intussuseption, bridging and/or enlargement of capillaries from pre-existing ones, whereas arteriogenesis means the remodeling of arteriolar anastomoses to functional arteries. Lymphangiogenesis is the generation of new lymphatic vessels from pre-existing lymphatic vessel [1]."
