I don't think this actually exists as a word. If it does, then the context and usage needs to be specified. For example, if 'autopilot' is being used as an adjective eg 'the plane was flying on autopilot' it makes autopilots a nonsensical word.
Autopilot does not exist as an object/noun in itself; rather it is a feature of one such as planes, people (slang) etc.
Therefore 'autopilots' is an incorrect entry and this page should be deleted.
Tosh - do a Google book search - you will find sentences such as "These first autopilots were of a completely mechanical construction and supplied a corrector signal to the rudder which was proportional to the heading . . ." SemperBlotto 15:35, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
