Someone who left and came back?

I just saw an Amazon employee describing herself as an "Amazon boomerang", presumably meaning that she left Amazon for another company and later returned. Is this sense of "boomerang" in general use at all? Equinox ◑ 15:06, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
