Audiovisual program

edit

About sense 5 ("a non-interactive audiovisual computer program developed by enthusiasts to demonstrate the capabilities of the machine"): this is not a particularly mainstream word, and shouldn't be confused with cut-down "demo" versions of computer games, but it dates from the 1980s and is still in current usage among thousands of enthusiasts. See "demoscene" on Wikipedia, for instance. 86.131.102.228 17:19, 27 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

this is a Greek prefix right? should there not be a discussion of that and its meaning? — This comment was unsigned.
