I have altered the definition, because it is not so much a matter of reappearance as of bouncing back, and I have added three cites. Kiwima (talk) 23:51, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
The 1874 citation looks good. The other two have nothing to do with "bouncing back" and appear to be just using a bird-word to make people sound cute, like calling them "chickadees". Please re-evaluate those. Equinox 00:18, 22 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
