@Fay Freak, is there a derivation in Arabic where the first vowel is u? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 01:40, 30 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

فُرْحَة (furḥa, a cause of joy or gladness), a not so common vocalization of فَرْحَة (farḥa). If I add this vocalization to فَرْحَة (farḥa) perhaps one of those square IPs will remove it. Theoretically a **فُرَاحَة (**furāḥa) is imaginable, as سُحَارَة (suḥāra). Fay Freak (talk) 01:59, 30 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Well, the final vowel doesn't need accounting for, as I'm sure you know. Given the inconclusiveness of your findings, I suppose I'll leave the entry as is. (It may also be another one of those pesky Omani dialectal variations.) —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 16:33, 30 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
