Hi Equinox. Thank you for your work here on Wiktionary. I was wondering if you could add another sense to gaijin card:
* "What is the Gaijin Card? (Special values/advantages foreigners deliver/have in the eyes of the Japanese!"
* "I mean the imaginary gaijin card that allows us foreigners to do things that we’re actually not supposed to do."
* "These privileges are collectively known as the Gaijin Card."
* "You might be able to get away with not really following the rules of Japanese etiquette - also known as the 'gaijin card'"
Often as "using the gaijin card". Also, it seems the actual card has been phased out since 2012, so the primary sense could be marked historical. Opencooper (talk) 06:30, 13 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
