My son is married to a woman who is the Aunt to her sister's 4 children. This makes him their Uncle, correct? Am I, his mother, related to his Nieces and Nephews in any way?

In English, an aunt’s husband is an uncle, and an uncle’s wife is an aunt. So your son is an uncle to the four children. You are technically a greataunt-in-law (or grandaunt-in-law), but it’s a tenuous connection, since you are not quite a sister-in-law of any of the children’s grandparents. —Stephen 03:05, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
