Agreed - if it's a plural then to use a singular verb is ungrammatical. So this would mean "hustings" is either a singular or a mass noun. Either that or the statement was talking about people who have no clue about basic English grammar. But I see it's been removed now. — Smjg (talk) 16:21, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
