if I din't know any better, I'd say

edit

“While I was a-ridin' down the street, the Kid jumped in back with her, and if I din't know any better, I'd say he give her a screw right thar in the backseat.”

I cannot derive the meaning of this sentence from the definition of the entry; is it the same meaning? --Backinstadiums (talk) 12:39, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes: "to recognize that a statement or belief is false". If I didn't actually know they had no sex, I would assume they did have sex. Equinox 12:45, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
