OCR issues

edit

I've been noticing while searching for examples of the phrase illigration (short for illegal immigration) that "migration" in books turns up a lot as a result. Are there other examples in OCR where "ill" is confused for "M" ? You can see this on page 47 of https://emigratecaportuguesa.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/1966-a-theory-of-migration.pdf for example. Don't recall encountering that specific scano, but certainly others resulting from OCR involving the letter "m." --A12n (talk) 13:35, 23 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Derived terms

edit

Just added a couple of terms that are well established to the list. There are actually quite a number if one wanted a more comprehensive list on WT. See for example this presentation of a geography "quizlet" on migration. --A12n (talk) 13:39, 23 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Return to "migration" page.
