Yes, it is almost always spelled Neanderthal. Wyang (talk) 05:30, 12 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

OK, translations could be moved to Neanderthal but there should be no duplication. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 05:52, 12 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

I moved all translations to Neanderthal. Unless someone has evidence to the contrary, this lowercase form could be further reduced to a mere lower case form of, with no definitions. Data: Neanderthal, neanderthal at the Google Ngram Viewer., Neanderthal tendencies, neanderthal tendencies at the Google Ngram Viewer., Neanderthal skull, neanderthal skull at the Google Ngram Viewer., Neanderthals, neanderthals at the Google Ngram Viewer.. --Dan Polansky (talk) 13:06, 18 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
I went ahead and reduced the entry to a minimum alternative letter-case form of Neanderthal, where all the info such as pron and ety is to be found. --Dan Polansky (talk) 14:11, 18 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
