Can this also mean "to ferment," as VDict indicates? 71.66.97.228 20:12, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Why was "mổ" removed from "Synonyms," in this edit? According to dictionaries, both mổ and ngả can mean "to kill (an animal) for food."
- mổ (to dissect) has a more specific meaning than ngả (to fell) and I don't think they're interchangeable. DHN 03:54, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
The definition "to dissect" isn't part of the entry right now. Actually, many synonyms are not 100% equivalent. If a word is nearly equivalent I usually include it under "Synonyms" and the reader can determine the fine differentiation by reading the definitions of both entries.
- The most common meaning of "mổ" is "to operate on" and of "ngả" is "to fall, to incline". The "killing" meanings are extremely rare and are used in the figurative sense and I seriously doubt anyone would consider them synonyms. DHN 07:07, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
