I have improvised what I think would be the US pronunciation for this term based upon the US IPA for no and placebo.--Williamsayers79 07:21, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Where does this definition come from???

All the sources I've checked define a nocebo not as a substance, but as the effect (of ingesting a substance) that is negative and purely psychosomatic.

If no one can supply a credible reference for the current definition, I will replace it with the one I have found. Otherwise I will just add that as another definition.173.8.212.241 22:15, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
