editI didn't know this was a Navy phrase until I saw the gloss on your addition just now. I first encountered it at university, where it would precede the announcement that the library was closing. Perhaps it has more general usage? Equinox ◑ 21:01, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- Perhaps so. It's worth searching the usual citation sources to see. (Otherwise, perhaps your university's library adopted the announcement from the Navy. (I'm assuming you didn't attend the Naval Academy.
