- I agree that it makes little sense as it stands now. I guess the that @DDG9912 wanted to say that the development is similar to the case of Finnish "aggresive mood". Although it's easier to think of this just as another case of w:Jespersen's Cycle. –Austronesier (talk) 11:02, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
- Danisht (myself) here. The section name of this discussion is heavily misunderstood. I only meant that the addition of "agressive mood" in Finnish is only for comparative purposes. There is even no influence from Finnish either. I know that many Philippine languages also have this feature (*wada "there is" → "there is no"), with no clear external influence. To note, I have grammatical issues with English, since it is not my native language (I actually speak Indonesian). DDG9912 11:43, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
